Everyday in our lives, each and every one of us has certain hopes, dreams, and desires.

We hope to marry the one we love,
We dream to succeed in our career,
We desire to own big houses and expensive cars.

But, not everyone get what they hope, dream or desire for. There is a big difference between getting what you want or getting what you actually need.

Now, question yourself, What do you really want in life? and What do you actually need in life? I'm sure there's definitely different answers to both the questions right?

Allah knows what we want and yet He also knows what we need.

You wanted to go to UTM but Allah gave you UiTM,
You wanted to meet MatLutfi, but instead fate let you meet Aiman Azlan,
You planned to marry Salmah, but suddenly your right 'jodoh' was Rokiah.

Pretty harsh isn't it? The part where we would start saying things like, "Kenapa macam ni?", "Alaa, tak suka arr!", "Kalau aku dapat.....lagi best!"

This is likely how we might react towards situations like the above. However, what happens if we somehow get whatever we hope, dream, and also desire?

The truth is, either way, getting something we want or not getting what we want, it's easy said that we are in the state of 'diuji oleh Allah'.

Between the two situations(good/bad) of 'ujian dari Allah' lies a simillarity point of the term 'syukur'. They say.."Jika kita diuji dengan segala macam kesenangan nikmat duniawi kita perlu bersyukur. Begitu juga jika kita diuji dengan segala ketidakcukupan duniawi, kita juga perlu bersyukur".

So, brothers and sisters.."bersyukurlah"
