.oh Boboi.

Ever wondered why some families call their son 'Boboy'? I sat thinking about it this morning while having breakfast. Seriously, mengapa panggil dia 'Boboy' kalau nama dia sgt sedap mcm contohnya Hasif(nama contoh), tp family panggil 'Boboy' or is the correct and cuter spelling is 'Boboi'? *Tepuk dahi.

I try putting myself in Hasif's(again, just nama contoh) family shoes on why on earth did they ever, i mean EVER decide in calling him 'Boboy' or 'Boboi' since he was born/little.

First possible reason is that they were so excited it was a baby boy! Like oh boy! It's a boy, lets name him Hasif but call him Boy because his a BOY!

Second possible reason is that Boy seems like the easiest word to pronounce maybe especially for atok & nenek yg mghadapi kesukaran menyebut Hasif jadi..probably Hasif's parents might have said to Hasif's grandparents " Takpa lah Mak, susah2 sgt panggil dia Boboy, senang nk sebut" Makanya..melekatlah nama Boboy itu. Get it?

Okay, jgn expect another reason because I only came up with two. *gelak kecil
The thing is kenapa panggil dia Boboy? Jiran sebelah rumah saya namakan kucing dia Boboy!(okay, tipu!) HAHA! But Boboi? Boboy? Sounds like the way of spelling I would text to my friends when ending a text message, like boboi, just to make it sounds cute, but calling someone Boboi..is just so, so wrong. Tidakkah anda rasa begitu?

Then again, kenapa tak ada orang nk panggil anak perempuan dia Gegirl? Like OMG its a baby girl and lets name her Liyana but call her Gegirl. Euwh. Utk boys boleh pulak jadi Boboi but girls? I dont think I've ever heard of any families using Gegirl but it sounds just equally as weird as Boboy. Kan?

My whole point is, just call your child based on what you named them lah. Kalau nama dia Akram tp panggil Am tu logik lah lagi..tapi kalau nama Hasif tapi panggil Boboy? Buat saya rasa nk tepuk dahi lagi sekali *kepuk ;|

No offense to those who are literally called Boboi. I'm just having issues with why you are called that way. Just my issue. Hee ;)
